The Cottage

This traditional style, renovated West Coast cottage is routinely maintained and decorated and is well equipped throughout. Heating is either by electric heaters or by coal fire. The water is heated by immersion. Electricity is not included in the price and coal can be bought at several shops on the island. The cottage is traditional west coast cottage with 3 foot thick walls. Originally was a thatched cottage but now has a black saddle shaped roof. The cottage stands on its own 1 mile from one of the main villages with lovely views of most of the island.

The 2 bedroom cottage sleeps 4, one double room and one twin room (both supplied with duvets and pillows, no bed linen or towels are supplied) and is ideal family accommodation. We insist on no pets and a non smoking policy. To operate an immediate entry policy, where possible, tenants are asked to keep the cottage clean (cleaning materials are provided) and tidy. On departure all cleaning is to be done by the guests especially kitchen and bathroom. More information to help you around the cottage and on Tiree can be found in the Info Pack in the cottage. Please read it when you arrive
